Finnish and Swedish are the languages that members here can share, whether they write from Helsinki or from further afield in Finland. Those who join do so with marriage in view, hoping to be understood in their own words and within their own region.

Some members look outward as well, welcoming correspondence with people in Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Iceland or Ireland. Being part of one region can make a serious acquaintance easier to begin, and marriage remains the intention that guides these exchanges.
