French and English both serve as official languages here, so conversations can begin in whichever tongue feels closest to home. Members who join do so with marriage in view, hoping to find someone within the same region who shares that intention and can be understood without translation.

Some members look further afield, opening their search to Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Angola or either Congo. Sharing a corner of the continent and a common tongue, they hope that a serious relationship might grow across a border rather than only within it.
