Spanish is the shared language here, allowing conversations to unfold without translation between people drawn to the same region, from San José and beyond. Those who join do so with marriage in mind, hoping to know someone seriously and to be known in return.

Some members look further afield, open to correspondence with people in Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala or Belize, where a common tongue makes an unhurried exchange possible. Their aim stays the same: a lasting commitment, sought honestly, with time given to knowing another person well.
